A Study in Interpretation
The Lydia Tank Dress begins with an original Rorschach-inspired print, transforming mirrored imagery, saturated color and the House of Caswell visual language into wearable artwork.
For this Vancouver editorial, stylist Megan Lems of Analee Styling reimagined Lydia through layers of vivid cobalt, electric blue tights, red heels and graphic beauty. The result reveals another side of the dress, where its already expressive print becomes part of an even larger conversation between color, texture and proportion.
That transformation reflects one of the ideas at the heart of Still Life: a garment begins with the story imagined by its designer, but takes on new meaning through the person who wears and interprets it.
