The Veronica Ensemble
The Veronica Ensemble was created as an exploration of visual harmony. Combining the Strawberry Seed print and the Retro Stem print, it is the only ensemble in the Still Life collection designed around the visible interplay of two exterior prints.
Created from colors derived from the original pastel artwork that inspired the collection, the ensemble explores how distinct patterns can coexist without competing. The relationship between the prints became a study in rhythm, contrast, and balance.
While developing the collection, founder Kaylie Caswell began thinking about prints almost like music. Some motifs act like melody, others become rhythm. Some create tension, while others create softness. The emotional atmosphere shifts through scale, repetition, and proportion.
The Veronica Cargo Utility Top and Veronica Cargo Midi Skirt invite personal interpretation while reflecting House of Caswell's philosophy of Artful Nostalgia: clothing as a form of storytelling, memory, and self-expression.
